Hj Mustapha Abd Kadir is currently the Executive
Chairman of Linkfarr. Prior to this, Hj Mus spent 30 years with the National
Productivity Corporation (now known as Malaysia Productivity Corporation). He
was the Deputy Director General of the organization before retiring from the
government in October 2000. Throughout the years in NPC, he was appointed as
the Director of Corporate Services, Director of Productivity and Quality
Department, and the Assistant Director of Management Development and Industrial
Relations Section. He was also the Head of the Staff Development Unit of NPC
and was responsible in developing the training consultants of the center.
A
graduate from University Malaya with Bachelor of Arts in 1969, Hj Mustapha was
trained both locally and overseas in the area of Productivity and Quality,
Entrepreneurship and Management Development in France,
USA, Japan, China and ASEAN. During his
capacity as the Deputy CEO to NPC, he had the opportunity to work very closely
with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in the national Quality
Management Award and the Prime Minister’s Award. He was actively involved in
the Quality Control Circle
movement in the country and was the national chief judge in QCC conventions,
and many other joint committees such as the HRDF.
Over
the years he had conducted numerous training in the area of Human Resource
Development, Total Quality Management, Quality Control Circle (QCC), ISO 9000, Systems
Development and Good Manufacturing Practices.
